Printfest was founded in 2001, it is the UK’s foremost artist-led printmaking festival. Printfest is dedicated to the exhibition and sale of contemporary prints, it is a rare opportunity for the best of the UK’s printmakers to gather under one roof, to share practice and learn from each other. Printfest offers visitors the occasion to view and purchase art works, to meet the artists and to learn more about printmaking.

A project started in 2015 by mixed media artist Josie Beszant, printmaker Hester Cox and ceramicist Charlotte Morrison.
"We are looking at collections, what, how and why we and other people collect things.
What is then done with the collected objects and how they are displayed and how meaning is carried with the collection.
We are working as individual artists and collaboratively, sharing thoughts, objects and themes".

Within These Walls explores the endangered upland meadows of the Yorkshire Dales through printmaking on a grand scale. Hung in a traditional field barn, Hester’s 4m prints feature imagery inspired by these beautiful habitats. Ethereal monotypes contrast with ornate collagraphs to bring the outdoors inside.
